so my mom’s a teacher and every year for her kids she orders this monarch butterfly kit to teach them about bug life cycles and stuff. i was looking through the catalogue just now and man you can order like, a shit ton of ladybugs for practically nothing. monarchs are the cream of the crop, but these lady bugs, they are the leftover…milk parts of the the crop. ladybugs are straight up worthless. you could spend like 25 dollars and get like a million of them. just pure bricks of ladybugs delivered to your house. it makes me want to invent a kind of prank where you just coat someone’s car or room or body with ladybugs and then you burst in and yell, “you got ladybug’d, bitch! your aphids are GONE.” and they’re just like, “ahhh good onee these are really helpful to garden ecosystems..” and you’re like, “really? a million ladybugs? that won’t throw it out of balance? then you pull a lever and damn, more ladybugs fall from the ceiling.
